Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 5 line with the new Edge 5G model, the first laptop in the series with mobile connectivity support. It runs on Windows 11 and is powered by a Snapdragon processor.
Samsung has announced the upcoming release of a new laptop called Galaxy Book5 Pro with support for Microsoft's Copilot+ and Galaxy AI feature packs. The model will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch display versions, and will be built on performance hardware from Intel.
While Qualcomm is about to release the Snapdragon X Elite, Intel's Meteor Lake successor is also almost at the launch. The first Intel Lunar Lake-powered laptops are expected near the end of the year, but the first samples appear to have already reached laptop manufacturers: a Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro with an Intel Core Ultra 200 series processor has just been spotted in SiSoftware's test database.
The ThinkBook 14+ and 16+ models in the 2026 versions have been added to the Lenovo laptop series. Both new models feature high-resolution displays, powerful hardware, and the ability to increase graphics performance with an eGPU.
Acer's lineup now includes the Chromebook 311 (C725) and Chromebook Spin 311 (R725T): energy-efficient laptops running ChromeOS. The new products are positioned as devices for use in educational institutions and, according to the manufacturer, can last up to 15 hours away from a power outlet.
