Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 5 line with the new Edge 5G model, the first laptop in the series with mobile connectivity support. It runs on Windows 11 and is powered by a Snapdragon processor. The laptop has a 15.6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and an anti-glare coating. Weighing 1.66 kg and measuring 15.5 mm thick, the device remains relatively portable despite its large screen. Inside, there is a full-size SIM slot and a 5G Sub6 modem. The hardware platform uses a Snapdragon X processor with Adreno graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512 GB eUFS drive. A 61.2 Wh battery with 65 W fast charging support provides autonomy. The set of ports includes USB 4.0, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card slot, and a classic audio jack. Sound is provided by stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G is already available on Samsung's UK website for £949. So far, only one configuration is available — 16 + 512 GB — and only in blue. |
