I am using a 10th gen Intel Core i5 laptop with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. It's great for office work and watching movies, but not for gaming due to lack of discrete graphics. The screen resolution is HD, suitable for everyday use. I could use more USB ports.

I upgraded the memory to 16 GB and replaced the 256 GB SSD with a 1 TB SSD
