Xiaomi has released several official teasers for the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone. The company has confirmed the key specifications of the device, which is designed to prioritize battery life as well as high-quality imaging and photography. One of the gadget's main features will be an 8,000 mAh battery. The battery will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. At the same time, the use of a silicon-carbon battery will allow the device to be relatively thin. The smartphone will also feature a 6.9-inch Super Pixel display with a new subpixel layout, ensuring high image clarity with relatively low power consumption. Additionally, a new red-emitting material will provide more “uniform” color reproduction. The manufacturer also provided details about the camera: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The future flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and an updated internal layout will improve heat dissipation. The Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to launch on May 21 in China. |
