Following the official announcement of plans for the soon-to-be-released Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone, its first real-life photo has surfaced online. The flagship device will be the same as the one shown in the early leaks and will generally retain the design of its predecessor. Judging by the photo, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra differs from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra only in the location of the camera lenses inside the large round unit. In the new model, they will be placed in a “G” shape. On top, it is expected to have a periscopic lens with 4.3x optical zoom and a large 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor. At the bottom will be the main module with a 50MP Sony LYT-900 inch sensor, a 50MP ultrawide (Samsung JN5) and another 50MP TV (Sony IMX858) but with 3x optical zoom. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to get a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 6.73-inch OLED screen with a slight curve around the perimeter and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Company representatives have already revealed that the smartphone will be unveiled in February. |
