vivo has expanded its “youth” smartphone series with the release of the new Y6 5G model. The device is designed for everyday use in basic scenarios, is well-protected against the elements, and boasts decent battery life. The vivo Y6 5G features a 6.57-inch IPS display (1570x720 pixels, 120 Hz, up to 1200 cd/m²). The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor powers the device. Depending on the configuration, it comes with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The 7,200 mAh battery supports fast charging via a 44-watt power adapter. According to the manufacturer, the device can operate for up to 15.5 hours in navigation mode and up to 23.5 hours of continuous offline video playback when away from a power outlet. The smartphone is housed in a body that is 8.39 mm thick and weighs 219 grams. It is protected to IP68 and IP69 standards. The main camera has a resolution of 50 MP, while the front camera is 8 MP.
