Vivo has released a new mid-range smartphone, the Y51 Pro 5G, with an intriguing mix of features. In terms of battery and protection rating, the model resembles flagship devices, but it is equipped with an IPS display.

The “face” of the vivo Y51 Pro 5G is a 6.75-inch screen with a resolution of 1570x720 pixels (120 Hz, up to 1250 cd/m²). The Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor powers the device. It features 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The 7,200 mAh battery supports 44-watt fast charging. The smartphone's 7.8 mm thick plastic body weighs 219 grams. It is certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP68/69 standards.

The main camera has a resolution of 50 MP (f/1.8), the secondary camera is 2 MP (f/2.4), and the front-facing camera is 8 MP (f/2.05). Connectivity options include a USB-C port, as well as Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6. The smartphone is now available in the Indian market. The 8/128 GB version costs $271, while the 8/256 GB model is priced at $303.
