Unveiled vivo Y37c: 90Hz screen and water resistance for $167 |

The company vivo introduced a budget smartphone Y37c, which received several interesting hardware features. In addition to a high-capacity battery, the gadget is noteworthy “overclocked” matrix and basic protection of the body from dust and splashes. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.56-inch IPS display with a maximum brightness of 570 cd/m², HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The manufacturer also claims that the inclusion of a blue light filter does not “bog down” the image in yellow tones. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera is built into the drop-shaped cutout on the screen at the top center, while the rear camera resolution is 13MP. The smartphone is based on the Unisoc T7225 processor (~250,000 points in AnTuTu). The RAM is 6GB and the storage is 128GB (eMMC 5.1). The 5500 mAh battery supports a 15-watt charging function. Completing the list of features are IP64 body protection and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Vivo Y37c is sold in China at a price of $167. |
