vivo has expanded its Y29 smartphone lineup with the Y29s 5G. The new model features a durable case with protection against water, dust and shock, a capacious battery and an internal storage with the ability to expand. The front of the vivo Y29s 5G is occupied by a 6.74-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 570 nits. The Dimensity 6300 chip is responsible for the smartphone's performance, supplemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is possible to increase the storage capacity up to 2 TB using a microSD card. The dual rear camera of the new product includes a main 50-megapixel sensor paired with an auxiliary sensor of 0.08 MP. The front camera received a resolution of 5 MP. The new product also has a 5500 mAh battery with support for 15-watt charging, Wi-Fi modules (2.4 / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C port and Android 15 with the proprietary Funtouch OS 15 shell. The smartphone also received protection from water and dust according to the IP64 standard, and the body, according to the company, is resistant to damage.
