Vivo has shared new details about the upcoming vivo X500 Pro Max smartphone. Shortly before its launch, the manufacturer published a teaser that fully revealed the new device's appearance.

The image shows the device will feature a large circular camera module located in the center of the upper portion of the rear panel. The new device will be available in at least two colors: silver and orange.

In addition to the smartphone itself, the teaser shows a set of accessories for mobile photography, including a grip and a dedicated external telephoto lens. These additions will transform the gadget into a fully-fledged camera, providing greater control over the camera processor and increasing the focal length.

The vivo X500 Pro is expected to retain a similar design to the Pro Max, but in a more compact body, while the base vivo X500 will receive a completely different camera unit design.

These smartphones will be the world's first devices to feature the latest BluePrint 900 sensor and advanced CIPA 7.0-compliant image stabilization for the main and periscope cameras, as well as an updated AI assistant for photo processing. Video recording will feature cinematic capabilities: 17-stop dynamic range, 10-bit 4:2:2 encoding, ACES color system support, 4K Log hardware recording at 120 fps, and support for streaming and native 8K video output.

The premiere of new vivo products is scheduled for September 21, 2026.
