Unveiled vivo V50: 6000 mAh battery, Snapdragon and IP69 for $402

Vivo has revealed a new smartphone V50 - a mid-budget gadget with IP68/IP69 body protection and a 6000 mAh battery. At the same time, the thickness of the device is 7.67 mm. The company told us what else the model is interesting.

Vivo V50 received a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2392x1080 pixels, refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness up to 4500 nits. The screen supports HDR10+ technology and is protected by Diamond Shield Glass. The hardware platform is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, RAM is 8/12 GB (LPDDR4X), permanent memory is 256/512 GB (UFS 2.2).

A 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging is responsible for battery life. There's also 5G, Wi-Fi 6, optical fingerprint scanner, dust and water protection (IP68/69), stereo speakers, Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 and a dual-SIM slot.

The smartphone will receive three Android updates and will be supported by security updates for four years. The gadget will go on sale on February 25 in India: the 8/128GB model will cost $402, the 8/256GB model will cost $425, and the 12/512GB model will cost $472.
