Ouyang Weifeng, vice president of vivo, announced two new smartphones within the mid-budget S30 lineup: a base model and a compact S30 Pro mini. He revealed some technical specifications of the devices, and a well-known Digital Chat Station insider supplemented this information. According to the top manager, the new series of smartphones will be presented at the end of May. The S30 Pro mini model will get a flat 6.31-inch display (like the X200 Pro mini), and the battery capacity of the gadget will be larger than that of the flagship (6500 mAh vs. 5700 mAh). The base model S30 will feature a flat 6.67-inch screen and the same battery. A Digital Chat Station insider additionally revealed that the vivo S30 Pro mini will feature a camera with a periscopic lens and Sony IMX882 sensor, which is used in the X200 Pro mini. According to rumors, vivo S30 will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, but there is no information about the stuffing of the “mini” yet. |
