VAIO brand has released a 14-inch notebook with the index SX14-R, oriented for professional use. The key features of the model are the combination of low weight and impressive battery life, as well as productive hardware for demanding tasks. VAIO SX14-R is equipped with an IPS screen (14”, touch 2560x1440 pixels or standard 1920x1200 pixels). The hardware platform is based on an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H processor, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and NVMe storage (PCIe 4.0) of up to 2TB. The set of interfaces includes two Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.0 Type-A ports each, HDMI and Ethernet, as well as a Wi-Fi 7 module and 5G modem. The laptop is available in modifications with different battery capacity. The basic version weighing 999 grams is able to last on a single charge up to 27 hours in standby mode or up to 11 hours when watching video, and advanced (1.17 kg) - up to 38 and 16 hours respectively. The list of characteristics of the novelty complements the webcam with a resolution of 9.2 megapixels and support for HDR. Its feature was the function of tracking the user at work: as soon as he steps away from the laptop, the screen goes out. VAIO SX14-R went on sale in Japan at a price from $ 1730 depending on the configuration. |
