Following models based on Ryzen AI processors, Tuxedo has unveiled the InfinityBook Max 16 laptop, equipped with Intel's flagship processor. The new model has a durable all-metal body and is equipped with powerful gaming hardware with Linux OS “out of the box.”

The InfinityBook Max 16 has a 16-inch screen in two configurations: with a matte IPS panel (2560x1600 pixels, 300 Hz, 500 nits, and 100% DCI-P3) or a glossy OLED screen (2880x1800 pixels, 120 Hz). The laptop is powered by a Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, complemented by GeForce RTX 5060 or GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. Up to 128 GB of RAM and up to 8 TB of SSD storage are provided for data storage.

The new model's autonomy is provided by a 99 Wh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 8 hours of operation. Charging is carried out via USB Type-C at a power of up to 140 W. The laptop also supports power from a compact 240W GaN power supply for maximum performance.

The set of interfaces includes USB Type-C, Mini DisplayPort, USB Type-A ports for various peripherals, and HDMI 2.1 for connecting up to four high-resolution monitors. The InfinityBook Max 16 weighs only 2 kg and comes with a special proprietary version of Linux — Tuxedo OS. The laptop can also run Windows 11.

The base configuration of the Tuxedo InfinityBook Max 16 with an IPS screen, Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5060, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD will cost $1,899.
