Lenovo has launched sales of new ThinkBook 14 2024 laptops with AI starting at $700 |

The new Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2024 laptop has officially hit the Chinese market. One of the key updates over its predecessor is the new Intel Meteor Lake processors and artificial intelligence (AI) support. There are two processor options for the laptop, the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and the Core Ultra 7 155H. Lenovo claims that both configurations of the ThinkBook 14 2024 can deliver around 40W of performance. This suggests that the laptop has what it takes to run demanding workloads smoothly. In addition, they both feature 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz and a 1TB PCIe 4 SSD. Another upgrade over its predecessor is the display. The new ThinkBook 14 features a 14-inch 2.8K display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, 100% sRGB coverage and 120Hz refresh rate. Other features of the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2024 are more or less the same as its predecessor. This means that the new laptop still has a thin and light body with plenty of ports, including Thunderbolt 4. It also has the same 60Wh battery as the Chinese variant of the 2023. Also, the 2024 ThinkBook 14 still addresses durability issues with its MIL-STD-810H certification. Other features include an FHD 1080p camera with ThinkShutter for privacy, 180-degree hinge, and TÜV Rheinland display certifications. The Core Ultra 5 variant currently has a starting price of 5,099 yuan (about $708), while the laptop with Core Ultra 7 is priced at 5,999 yuan (about $833). |
