The TCL tablet family has been expanded with another new product. The compact Tab 8 NXPAPER 5G model is equipped with a proprietary anti-glare display and supports black and white display mode, bringing the image closer to modern e-ink readers. The gadget has an 8.7-inch screen with a resolution of 800x1340 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a matte finish, and a blue light filter function. It can also simulate an E-Ink panel when reading mode is enabled. Under the hood, it has an unnamed octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. A 6000 mAh battery provides up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge, depending on the operating mode. The gadget's list of features also includes a 5G modem, stereo speakers, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet measures 211.88 x 125.58 x 8.35 mm and weighs 365 grams. The TCL Tab 8 NXPAPER 5G is already available in the US market at a price of $199. |
