Insider Roland Quandt published high-quality renders and a specification list of the yet-to-be-announced TCL P80 Pro smartphone with an NXTPAPER display. Details about a more affordable entry-level version of the upcoming device also emerged. According to the leaked images, both models will feature a plastic case with flat edges, a vertical camera array, and narrow bezels of equal width around the entire screen. The TCL P80 Pro has an additional switch on the right edge, presumably for changing screen modes or muting notifications. The top-end model will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone's battery will have a capacity of 5800 mAh. The 6.83-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2766 x 1280 pixels will be equipped with an NXTPAPER anti-glare coating. The base model, whose screen specifications are still unknown, will feature a Dimensity 7300 Elite chip, 8GB/128GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery. Both smartphones will feature the same camera setup: 50MP+8MP rear-facing cameras and a 32MP front-facing camera. The TCL P80 is expected to cost around ?300, while the TCL P80 Pro will retail for approximately ?350. TCL has not yet confirmed the specifications, pricing, or presentation date of the new models. |
