Sony has announced the presentation of a “new Xperia product”, released a teaser with its image and confirmed the date of the event. Apparently, the company will unveil a new flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 VII. The teaser shows the smartphone with a dedicated camera button and the usual “cinematic” screen aspect ratio for the company's signature series. The model of the device promotional materials do not disclose, but, according to rumors, we are talking about the flagship Xperia 1 VII. Earlier this gadget was noted in the Geekbench database, thanks to which its specifications became partially known: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite processor, 12 GB of RAM and Android 15-based firmware. According to the US regulator FCC, the smartphone's body dimensions will be 162 x 74.5 x 8.5 mm and the battery capacity will be 5,000 mAh. Industry insiders, in turn, claim that, the smartphone will get a 6.5-inch display and triple camera (48+12+12 MP, including telephoto module with an EFR of 70-200 mm). The premiere of Sony's novelty will take place on May 13. The presentation of a more affordable model Xperia 10 VII is also expected. |
