The Japanese company continues to completely ignore all trends in the field of smartphone construction. Not yet announced flagship Xperia 1 VII has passed the certification of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States, thanks to which new photos and characteristics of the device have appeared. In particular, in the novelty should not expect a large-capacity battery. Sony Xperia 1 VII has already repeatedly shown on renders and real photos, so the new images only confirm the already known information. According to the FCC, the dimensions of the smartphone will be 162 x 74.5 x 8.5 mm, which is slightly thicker than its predecessor with its 162 x 74 x 8.2 mm. The new Xperia 1 VII will get a 6.5-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. During the certification of the smartphone, it was revealed that it will have a battery with a nominal capacity of 4,850 mAh. In comparison, almost all current flagships are equipped with batteries of 6000 mAh and above. Even the 6.32-inch OnePlus 13T has a 6,260 mAh battery. The Sony Xperia 1 VII is expected to be unveiled on May 15. It is credited with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 48MP main camera, and a 12MP ultra wide-angle and telephoto. |
