A few weeks before the announcement, the Android Headlines portal published one of the most extensive leaks about Samsung's future flagships. Insiders shared renders and technical specifications for three upcoming models: the base Galaxy S26, the larger S26+, and the top-of-the-line S26 Ultra. The main focus is on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The smartphone was shown in purple and black. The corners of the case have become slightly more rounded compared to its predecessor. The screen diagonal remains unchanged at 6.9 inches. The set will still include the proprietary S Pen stylus. The camera block has been slightly redesigned, combining three lenses into an “island.” According to available information, the main module will be 200 MP, complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and two telephoto lenses of 50 and 10 MP. The front sensor will have a resolution of 12 MP. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be built on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and will run on Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box. The 5000 mAh battery will remain unchanged. The more affordable Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will be traditionally identical and differ mainly in size. The base Galaxy S26 will get a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, while the S26+ will get a 6.7-inch display with QHD+ resolution. In Europe and a number of other countries, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ will run on Exynos 2600, while in other regions, versions are expected. |
