Samsung has released a new version of the Galaxy A17 smartphone designed to work on fourth-generation mobile networks. The gadget retains the design and most of the features of the 5G model, but differs from it in terms of the processor model. The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G is based on the MediaTek Helio G99 mobile platform, equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card (up to 2 TB). The AMOLED screen, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, has a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The 5000 mAh battery supports 25W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.0. The company promises six OS updates and emphasizes support for AI features such as “Circle to Search” and access to the Gemini chatbot. The main camera has a resolution of 50 MP, the ultra-wide camera has 5 MP, and the macro module has 2 MP. The body is protected according to the IP54 standard. The list of features is complemented by an NFC chip and a fingerprint scanner in the power button. The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G is already available on the German market at a price of ˆ199. |
