Ahead of the official presentation, Xiaomi shared new details about the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone. This time, the company revealed the device's camera specifications and demonstrated its capabilities in action. According to the manufacturer, the Note 15 Pro+'s rear camera will feature a 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 (OV50E) main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It will be complemented by an ultra-wide-angle module and a telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. Several shots demonstrate the capabilities of portrait photography in both low light and bright daylight. They show accurate focus on the main subject of the frame, pleasant color rendering, and skin tone. There are also landscape shots. One of them was taken in difficult lighting conditions against a light source. Other confirmed specifications of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ include a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of flash memory, a 7000 mAh battery, and the HyperOS 2.0 operating system based on Android 15. The Redmi Note 15 series is scheduled to premiere on August 21. |
