The Redmi brand has unveiled the affordable Note 14 SE 5G smartphone with a set of features that are advanced for its price segment. The new model retains most of the features of the base model, but with a slightly modified appearance.

The gadget features a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz (there are 60 and 90 Hz modes), a peak brightness of 2100 nits, and support for 10-bit color depth. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Redmi Note 14 SE's hardware platform includes a Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor and 6+128 GB memory configuration with the option to expand storage using a microSD card. The camera unit includes a Sony LYT-600 main sensor (50 MP), an 8 MP auxiliary sensor (ultra-wide) and a 2 MP macro module. The front camera has a resolution of 20 MP.

The list of features is rounded out by a 5110 mAh battery (45W fast charging), an under-display fingerprint scanner, an IR port, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Note 14 SE 5G in burgundy will go on sale in India on August 7 at a price of $101.
