The latest Xiaomi Redmi G Pro gaming laptop was released in late 2022. It featured performance-oriented hardware, with the maximum variant equipped with Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and Intel Core i9-12900H. About a year and a half later, Xiaomi unveiled the successor to the 2024 at a big product launch event held in China a few days ago. Now, the company has officially announced that the gaming laptop finally has a release date. According to the official poster, the Redmi G Pro 2024 laptop will debut in China on March 4. The poster also revealed the key specifications, stating that the system will deliver 210W of performance. As for the processor and GPU, the configuration shown on the promotional poster includes an Intel Core i9-14900HX and an Nvidia RTX 4060. While the processor is a major upgrade over the maxed out version of its predecessor, the GPU is not. This likely isn't the only configuration that will be available. The laptop appeared on Geekbench earlier this year. Back then, the Redmi G Pro 2024 gaming laptop with a Core i5-14500HX processor and RTX 4060 was listed, which is likely to be the base laptop. There were also reports of an Nvidia RTX 4070 variant. |
