Redmi A3x smartphone with Unisoc T603, 90 Hz display released

Redmi has officially launched the Redmi A3x in international markets, starting with Pakistan. The smartphone has a design similar to the Redmi A3, but it replaces the MediaTek Helio G36 processor with the Unisoc T603.

In terms of design, the Redmi A3x showcases a glass back with a round camera accented with a gold ring on the black and green models and a silver ring on the white model.

On the front, it features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and includes DC Dimming technology to reduce eye strain. Both the front and back sides of the device are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. As mentioned above, under the lid, it is powered by a Unisoc T603 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via MicroSD card.

In terms of optics, it comes with a dual 8-megapixel AI camera with an auxiliary lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of software, it comes with an operating system based on Android 14. It is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It also has a side fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Redmi A3x is priced at 18,999 PKR, which converts to approximately $68 USD. The model is also expected to be launched in India and the UAE soon.
