POCO X7 and X7 Pro unveiled: bright screens, fast hardware and price from $249

POCO brand introduced X7 and X7 Pro smartphones to the international market. Distinctive features were recognizable design, high performance hardware and support for fast charging technology. In addition, the older model was presented as a limited edition version dedicated to Iron Man from the Marvel universe.

POCO X7 Pro features a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 2712x1220 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, brightness up to 3200 nits and PWM up to 1920Hz. It is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i tempered glass and supports HDR10+. The gadget's hardware platform includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, 8/12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The resolution of the main camera is 50MP (Sony IMX 882, OIS), the ultrawide camera is 8MP and the front camera is 20MP. A 6000mAh battery that supports 90-watt charging is responsible for autonomy. The list of characteristics is complemented by Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC modules, as well as protection of the body according to the IP68 standard.

The gadget runs HyperOS 2.0 firmware based on Android 15. Along with the standard version, a limited edition Iron Man Edition with a decorative design in the spirit of the franchise of the same name is now on sale.

POCO X7 got a similar display, with a maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass. It is based on the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip with similar memory capacities (LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2) to the older model. The cameras and software platform are the same, and for autonomy is responsible for a 5100 mAh battery with fast 45-watt charging.
