The global presentation of new flagship smartphones POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro took place in Singapore. The devices turned out to be very similar: both are equipped with powerful processors, capacious batteries with support for fast charging and advanced cameras. Novelties received a 6.67-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels, refresh rate up to 120 Hz and support for HDR10 + and Dolby Vision. The screen with 12-bit color depth and peak brightness up to 3200 nits provides incredible detail even in direct sunlight. Protection is provided by Gorilla Glass 7i on the F7 Pro and POCO Shield Glass on the F7 Ultra. Both new products have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display. POCO F7 Ultra is equipped with a top-of-the-line 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno 830 graphics, while the F7 Pro features a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and Adreno 750 graphics. Both smartphones are available with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The devices run on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15. The POCO F7 Ultra is powered by a 5300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the F7 Pro has a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging only. POCO F7 Ultra is equipped with a triple camera: 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with optical and electronic stabilization, 32MP super wide-angle and 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. A unique feature is a floating lens for macro photography from 10cm away. POCO F7 Pro offers a dual camera: a 50MP main module (Light Fusion 800) and an 8MP super-wide lens.Both novelties support video recording in resolutions up to 8K.The Ultra-version has a 32MP frontal versus the 20MP of the “Pro”. Both smartphones are IP68 water-resistant and have stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. |
