For Hard reset Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 use following steps

1. Use the Power button to turn off the phone.

2. Press the Volume Up and Power button for a few seconds.

3. When the Xiaomi logo appears, release all the keys ..

4. Select Wipe Data and Wipe All Data. Use the Volume Up / Down keys to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection.

5. Press the Confirm button using the Power button.

6. Return to the main menu and select «reboot».

7. Select Reboot to System and confirm the selection using the Power button.
