For Hard reset Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro use following steps

1. You need to turn off your smartphone with the Power button

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds (up to 20)

3. Release the keys when the XIAOMI logo appears

4. You need to go to the menu line "wipe data / factory reset", the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key is used to confirm the choice made

5. Select "yes" from the menu items and confirm your selection by pressing Power
