For Hard reset vivo U3 use following steps

1. Before Hard Reset (reset to factory settings), turn off your smartphone

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds (up to 20)

3. After the Android Robot logo appears, release all buttons

4. Release the Power key when the VIVO logo appears

5. Release the Volume Up key when Recovery Mode appears on the screen

6. You are interested in the "wipe data / factory reset" item, the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key is used to confirm the selection

7. Select "yes" from the menu items and confirm your selection by pressing Power
