1. The first thing you need to do is download the Xperia Companion software to your computer.

2. You can do it here www.support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/

3. Now install Xperia Companion on your PC

4. Then turn off your phone using the power key and prepare the USB Type-C cable connected to your computer.

5. Launch Xperia Companion and from the Main Menu select Software repair

6. Then confirm the next action

7. When the following connection menu appears, turn on your smartphone to Fastboot Mode.

8. After that, press the Volume Down button and while holding this button, connect the USB Type-C cable to the device.

9. Then read the important information about the process and click the Next button to start the factory reset operation.

10. After completing the operation, disconnect the smartphone
