1. To perform the Hard Reset procedure (reset to factory settings), you must turn off the power of the smartphone

2. Hold down the Volume Up and Power buttons for a short time

3. Release the keys when the SAMSUNG logo appears on the screen

4. After pressing the Power and Volume Up buttons, the Recovery Mode menu will open
