For Hard reset Samsung Galaxy A3 use following steps

1. To perform the Hard Reset procedure (reset to factory settings), you must turn off the power of the smartphone

2. Press the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously and hold the buttons for a few seconds

3. Release the keys when the SAMSUNG logo appears on the screen

4. After pressing the Volume Up and Power buttons, the Recovery Mode menu will open

5. Move the cursor to the "wipe data / factory reset" menu item, the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key to confirm the choice made

6. Select "yes" and press the Power button
