I find the CPU resources to be sufficient for my needs. Gaming is possible with the discrete graphics adapter. The 500GB hard drive is enough for storing files. 8GB of RAM is adequate, but more would be nice. There are enough USB ports for my use. The picture quality on the IPS display is excellent. Overall, the Lenovo ThinkPad E480 is a versatile and reliable laptop suitable for office work, entertainment, and light gaming.

I upgraded the memory to 16GB and replaced the 500GB HDD with a 1TB SSD
