For Hard reset Lava Z62 use following steps

1. Turn off the phone, button Power.

2. Press Power and Volume UP buttons for a few seconds.

3. Release the buttons when you see the Lava logo on the screen.

4. Use the Volume Up key to select Recovery Mode and confirm the selection by clicking the Volume Down button.

5. Select "wipe data / factory reset" using the Volume Up / Down keys to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection .

6. Select Yes and press the Power button to confirm the selection.
