FRP (Factory Reset Protection) was introduced by Google to combat phone theft.
FRP Lock (Factory Reset Protection) is a system to protect against the use of stolen Android phones, which is triggered after a hard reset. After rebooting and connecting to the Internet, the device will ask for your Google account login and password.
Bypass FRP is a tool to help you if you forgot your Google account username or password.

Before bypass FRP, follow these steps.

1. Make sure your battery is charged to 90%.
2. Active Wi-Fi connection.

How to bypass FRP for HTC phone

1. Choose your preferred language, then tap on Start.
2. Connect the phone to a Wifi Network, and tap on Next.
3. When the Verify Your Account screen comes up, tap on the email/phone field. This will open the keyboard.
4. Click the Settings button on your keyboard. The HTC Sense Input Settings screen opens.
5. In this window, click Personal Dictionary, then press HTCVR for a few seconds. After this, click Share.
6. You will see several sharing options. Press and hold the Gmail icon to open the App Info page.
7. Click on Notifications, then click on App Settings.
8. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen and click on Manage Accounts. A pop-up message will appear. Tap Continue.
9. You are on the Settings page. Scroll down the menu to Google and click on it.
10. In the Google submenu, tap on Search and Now -> select Now Cards -> click Show Cards.
11. On the next screen, select 'No, Thanks'. The Google search bar will appear.
12. In the search bar, enter 'Google' and click on the first link in the search results. After opening the page, click again 'No thanks'. You will be taken to a Google search.
13. In the search, enter Google, then click on the first result, which is Google Home. Click on it.
14. On the screen you will be prompted to configure Chrome, click the 'No thanks' button.
15. Find Quick ShortcutMaker on the page and open the second link that appears. Here download the 'APK from APK 2.0' using the link at the very bottom of the screen.
16. After downloading the file, go back until you see the screen where you can enable Show Cards and enable them. You will be prompted once again to set up Chrome, so hit No, Thanks.
17. You will be taken to Search. Click Downloads to enter the folder where you saved the app.
18. You will see the application, click on it to start the installation.
19. After the phone informs that for security reasons the installation is locked, click Settings in the pop-up window.
20. Select Unknown Sources and then click OK.
21. Go back and tap the downloaded app again, then tap the Install button.
22. Next, you have to wait for the process to complete.
23. After the installation is completed, click on Open and look for Google Account Manager, with 'Type E-mail and Password' written under. Click on it.
24. Click on the Try item, and in the window that appears, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
25. After that, you need to select Browser Sign-in, and click OK.
26. Enter a new Google account.
27. Restart your phone and set it up. FRP lock screen you will never see again.
28. Go to the Settings menu -> Backup & reset.
29. After rebooting the phone, the process of removing the FRP lock is complete.

Overall, I find the laptop to be quite efficient in terms of CPU resources and storage capacity. The 4GB RAM is sufficient for everyday tasks but could benefit from an upgrade. With 3 USB ports, it's suitable for office work, movies, and browsing. The picture quality on the screen is satisfactory for general use. However, gaming may be limited due to the lack of a discrete graphics adapter.

I upgraded the memory to 8GB and replaced the 1TB HDD with a 500GB SSD
