For Hard reset HTC U11 use following steps

1. The smartphone must be turned off

2. Pressing the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds

3. After the HTC logo appears on the screen, you can release the keys

4. Press the Power and Volume Up buttons to open Recovery Mode

5. Go to "wipe data / factory reset", the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key to confirm the selection
