FRP (Factory Reset Protection) was introduced by Google to combat phone theft.
FRP Lock (Factory Reset Protection) is a system to protect against the use of stolen Android phones, which is triggered after a hard reset. After rebooting and connecting to the Internet, the device will ask for your Google account login and password.
Bypass FRP is a tool to help you if you forgot your Google account username or password.

Before bypass FRP, follow these steps.

1. Make sure your battery is charged to 90%.
2. Active Wi-Fi connection.

How to bypass FRP for HTC phone

1. Choose your preferred language, then tap on Start.
2. Connect your phone to a reliable Wi-Fi network, then click Next.
3. On the 'Verify Your Account' screen, click on the 'Email / Phone' field. The keyboard will open.
4. Press the Settings button on your keyboard for a few seconds. The HTC Sense Input Settings screen appears.
5. Select Personal Dictionary, then press and hold HTCVR. Then clickShare.
6. You will see several sharing options. Press and hold the Gmail icon to open the App Info page.
7. After this, tap on Notifications, then on App Settings.
8. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click on Manage Accounts. When the pop-up message appears. Click Continue.
9. You are on the Settings page. Scroll down the menu to Google and click on it.
10. In the Google submenu, tap on Search and Now -> select Now Cards -> click Show Cards.
11. On the next screen, select 'No, Thanks'. The Google search bar will appear.
12. Type 'Google' in the search bar and click on the first link in the search results. After opening the page, click again 'No thanks'. You will be taken to a Google search.
13. In the search enter Google, click on the first search result, this will be the Google Home page. Click on it.
14. When prompted to customize Chrome, click the 'No thanks' button.
15. Search for Quick ShortcutMaker and open the second link that appears. From here, download 'APK from APK 2.0', using the link at the bottom of the page.
16. After downloading the file, go back until you see the screen where you can enable Show Cards and enable them. You will be prompted once again to set up Chrome, so hit No, Thanks.
17. You will be taken to Search. Click Downloads to enter the folder where you saved the app.
18. After the app appears on the screen, click on it to start the installation.
19. After that, the phone will inform you that the installation is blocked for security reasons, click Settings in the pop-up window.
20. Now check the box Unknown sources and then click OK.
21. Go back and tap the downloaded app again, then tap the Install button.
22. You need to wait for the end of the process.
23. After the installation is complete, click Open and click on the item Google Account Manager with the signature 'Type E-mail and Password' under it.
24. Click Try, then click the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
25. After that, you need to select Browser Sign-in, and then click OK.
26. Enter a new Google account.
27. Reboot your phone. FRP lock screen you won't see anymore.
28. Select Settings -> Backup & reset menu.
29. After resetting the phone, the FRP lock removal process is complete.

I find the laptop to be quite efficient in terms of CPU resources, but not suitable for gaming due to lack of discrete graphics. The 256GB SSD is sufficient for storing files, while 8GB RAM is adequate for daily tasks. The 3 USB ports are enough for connectivity. The IPS display offers good picture quality for watching movies or YouTube.

I upgraded the memory to 8GB DDR4 and the hard disk to a 256GB NVMe SSD
