For Hard reset HTC Ignite use following steps

1. The first thing to do is turn off the power of the smartphone.

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds (up to 20)

3. When the HTC logo appears, the keys can be released

4. Press the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously to open Recovery Mode

5. You need to go to the menu line "wipe data / factory reset", the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key is used to confirm the choice made

6. Go to "yes" and press the Power button
