1. You need to turn off your smartphone with the Power button

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds (up to 20)

3. Release the keys when the HTC logo appears

4. Now press the Power and Volume Up buttons to open Recovery Mode

5. You are interested in the "wipe data / factory reset" item, the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key is used to confirm the selection

6. Select "yes" from the menu items and confirm your selection by pressing Power
