For Hard reset Honor V9 Play use following steps

1. You need to turn off your smartphone with the Power button

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons for a few seconds

3. Release the keys when the HONOR logo appears

4. You must select the "wipe data / factory reset" item, the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key to confirm the selection

5. Select "yes" from the menu items and confirm your selection by pressing Power
