For Hard reset Honor 9 Lite use following steps

1. Use the Power button to turn off the phone.

2. At the same time, press and hold the Volume Up and Power button for a few seconds.

3. Release the retained buttons when the HUAWEI logo appears on the screen.

4. Select the Volume Up / Down buttons "wipe data / factory reset" and confirm the selection by the Power button.

5. Select "wipe data / factory reset" and confirm the selection by clicking the Power button.

6. Select "Reboot System Now" and confirm the selection by clicking the Power button.
