For Hard reset Google Pixel 5 use following steps

1. Turn off the phone using the Power button.

2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button for a few seconds.

3. Release both buttons when you see the Google logo.


4. When the Android robot image appears, press the Volume Up and Power button.


5. Select "wipe data / factory reset. Use the Volume Up / Down keys to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection.


6. Select Yes. Use the Volume Up / Down keys to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection.


7. Select Reboot System Now. Use the Volume Up / Down keys to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection.
