For Hard reset Google Pixel 4 use following steps

1. Using the Power button - turn off the smartphone

2. Pressing the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds

3. After the GOOGLE logo appears on the screen, you can release all the keys

4. Select the "wipe data / factory reset" menu item, the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key is used to confirm the selection

5. Move the cursor to the "yes" menu item and press the Power button

6. We are interested in the menu item "reboot system now"

7. Hard Reset procedure completed
