For Hard reset Cat S41 use following steps

1. Use the Power button to turn off the phone.

2. Connect the Micro USB cable to a laptop or charger.

3. At the same time, press the Volume Up and Power button for a few seconds.

4. Holding these buttons, connect this cable to the phone.

5. Release all buttons when you see the CAT logo on the phone screen.

6. Use the Volume Up / Down buttons to select "wipe data / factory reset" and confirm the selection by the Power button.

7. Select Yes. Use the Volume Up / Down buttons to go through the menu items and the Power button to confirm the selection.

8. Select "Reboot System Now" and confirm the selection by the Power button.
