For Hard reset ASUS ZENFONE 3 use following steps

1. You need to turn off your smartphone with the Power button

2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time for a few seconds (up to 20)

3. Release the keys when the Boot Mode menu appears

4. Go to the Recovery menu section. The Volume up key is used to navigate the menu, and the Volume down key is used to confirm the selection.

5. After the image with Android Robot appears on the screen, press the Volume Up and Power keys simultaneously

6. In the menu, go to "wipe data / factory reset", the Volume Up / Down keys are used to navigate the menu, and the Power key to confirm the choice made

7. In the menu, go to "yes" and press the Power button
