Remove a Google account on Acer Liquid Jade Plus

If you bought yourself a new phone and are going to give the old one to your child, you need to remove your Google account from the phone so that the new user does not accidentally access your profile and disrupt Google services.

What happens after deleting a Google account?
All data and content associated with the account will be erased, including emails, files, calendars, and photos.
You won't be able to use Google services that require you to sign in to your Google account (such as Gmail, Drive, Google Play or Calendar).
You will lose access to subscriptions and content purchased through this account on YouTube and Google Play (for example, applications, games, music, TV series).

How do I remove a Google account from my phone?
Go to the Settings section.
Select Accounts and backup.
Click Manage Accounts and delete your account.
