OPPO A6x unveiled: 120 Hz display, high-capacity battery, and a price tag starting at $139

OPPO has released a budget smartphone called the A6x. Its distinctive features include a bright display, balanced hardware for everyday tasks, and basic water resistance.

The front of the OPPO A6x 5G features a 6.75-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 720x1570 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1125 nits, and coverage of 83% of the P3 color space and 100% of sRGB. The Dimensity 6300 chip, which forms the basis of the new device, works in conjunction with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage in the maximum configuration.

For taking photos and videos, the device is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a rear camera with a 13-megapixel main sensor. Both are capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution (60 fps for the main camera and 30 fps for the front camera).

The smartphone is powered by a 6500 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The set of interfaces includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules, as well as a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm audio output. The body of the new device is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP64 standard.

The OPPO A6x 5G went on sale in India at a price of $139 for the 4/64 GB configuration. The 4/128 GB and 6/128 GB versions will cost buyers $150 and $166, respectively.
