The official announcement of the OnePlus 15 is expected in the near future — the smartphone is set to be unveiled in China this month (with a global release also just around the corner). Amidst the anticipation, a Chinese tech blogger has published a detailed list of the device's specifications. According to the new data, the new device will feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 display with a refresh rate of 1–165 Hz, support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid. The latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will be responsible for performance, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage — up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal memory. Another feature is a 7300 mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Three 50 MP modules will be responsible for shooting: a wide-angle Sony LYT-700, as well as an ultra-wide and telephoto (3.5x) Samsung JN5. Additional features include a new cooling system, a proprietary vibration motor, stereo speakers, an IR transmitter, multifunctional NFC, and IP66/IP68/IP69-rated body protection. The smartphone is expected to be available in several memory versions, ranging from 12 + 256 GB to 16 GB + 1 TB. However, the cost of the new product is still being kept secret. |
