The Intel i7-8550U processor provides ample CPU resources for multitasking. The SSD capacity of 1000 GB is sufficient for storing files. 16 GB of RAM is adequate, but adding more would be beneficial. The display quality is excellent for office work, watching movies, or YouTube. However, the lack of a discrete graphics adapter may limit gaming capabilities. There are enough USB ports for connectivity needs. Overall, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a solid business laptop with impressive battery life and performance.

I upgraded the memory from 16 GB to 32 GB and swapped the 1000 GB SSD for a faster NVMe M.2 SSD
